Gion Matsuri on July.15th

We went to buy a good-luck charm named chimaki last night. Each floats sell their original chimaki. It is hand made by the person live in each block of the floats. We put it at the top of the entrance and defend for one year.
This is a photo of Tsuki-hoko,it comes from this ancient story, tsuki meaning 'moon'. At the top of the Shingi pole is a golden crescent, forty centimeters in width and twenty-four centimeters in length.
